$5.50

Genuine African Black soap, Made in Ghana, it is a Fair Trade Federation product of Ghana. It is also know as Anago Soap or Alata soap, originates from West Africa, and has been used there for centuries.

You will receive a chunk of African Black Soap, weighing approximately 4.0 oz. This soap is NOT molded, but is easy to shape if you wish to do so. This is very rustic looking soap, as African Black soap SHOULD be. Don't be taken by the "black soaps" that are molded & black in color. Real African Black soap is NOT molded or black, but is very rustic & homemade looking.

Used on every age, from newborn babies to the elderly, & used head to toe. Perfect as shampoo & all over bath soap. Also used in Africa for all kinds of skin conditions such as rashes, ringworm, acne, and eczema. (I am NOT making any medical claims about this soap, just explaining it's uses in Africa)

It is very moisturizing, but not oily. Leaves your skin feeling great. This soap is in it's natural form, & is unscented-meaning I have NOT added any scent to this product. It does have a natrual, earthy scent to it.

Recipes for Atala soap are passed down from generation to generation. The ingredients of the African black soap are virgin palm kernel oil, pure, unrefined Shea butter and lye produced from the ashes of plantain leaves and bark from a tree called Agow. The high percentage of Shea butter (48%) is one of the unique features of this soap. In addition, there are no chemicals added as preservatives, color enhancer's, or fragrances. Product may vary slightly from the picture as each batch is a unique creation

ALLERGY ALERT: This soap DOES contain unrefined Shea butter. If you are allergic to Shea butter, latex products or nuts you may wish to avoid this product.
